As per this notice, 4208 vacancies for Constable and 452 vacancies for SI posts are released. The Railway Recruitment Board organising RPF (Railway Police Force) Recruitment Examination nationally to select eligible candidates for the post of Constables and Sub-Inspectors. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply for the available post in the Railway Police Force. The online application process will be commenced from 15th April to 14th May 2024.   RPF CBT will be conducted group-wise simultaneously for Constable and SI for all 6 groups one by one in the following order; 1. Group A: S Railway, SW Railway and SC Railway 2. Group B: C Railway, W Railway, WC Railway and SEC Railway 3. Group C: E Railway, EC Railway, SE Railway and ECo Railway 4. RPF Constable & SI Eligibility Criteria To be eligible to apply for the RPF Constable and Sub Inspector posts, the candidate must follow the given age limit and education qualification. The selection process may include the following stages: Phase 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)- To be conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The initial stage of the selection process is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) that assesses candidates' knowledge in subjects such as General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. Phase 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)- To be conducted by the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Candidates who qualify for the CBT are then required to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PET includes physical tasks such as running, long jump, and high jump. The standards for PET may vary based on the gender of the candidate. Phase 3: Physical Measurement Test (PMT)- To be conducted by the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Candidates who clear the PET are subjected to a Physical Measurement Test to ensure that they meet the prescribed physical standards. Phase 4: Document Verification- To be conducted by the Railway Protection Force (RPF). After clearing the PET and PMT, candidates need to provide the necessary documents to verify their eligibility, which typically includes educational certificates, identity proof, and other relevant documents. RPF Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern The exam pattern for both Constable and SI posts is the same with 120 questions but varies in the difficulty level of the questions. For Constable posts, the difficulty level of the questions asked will be of Matriculation (10th) level and for SI posts, the questions will be of graduation level. No marks will be deducted for any question left unanswered. Time Duration: The time given to complete the Computer Based Test is 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes).
