Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Ken-Betwa river linking project in Madhya Pradesh, highlighting Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's contributions to water resource development. The project aims to provide drinking water to nearly 44 lakh people in Madhya Pradesh and 21 lakh in Uttar Pradesh. It will benefit 7.18 lakh agricultural families and generate hydropower and solar energy. Modi also inaugurated the Omkareshwar Floating Solar Project and laid the foundation stone for the Daudhan Irrigation Project. He criticized the Congress party for neglecting water conservation efforts and delaying projects. Additionally, Modi released a commemorative stamp and coin in honor of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
