The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Selection Post Phase 14 Recruitment 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill various Group B (Non-Gazetted) and Group C posts across multiple Central Government Ministries, Departments, and Organisations.

Vacancies

A total of 3003 vacancies have been announced for the SSC Selection Post Phase 14. The category-wise vacancy distribution is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, a candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to permanently settle in India.

Education Qualification

The educational qualifications are categorised into three different levels based on the specific requirements of the posts:

• Matriculation Level: Candidates must have passed the 10th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognised Board.
• Higher Secondary Level: Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University.
• Graduation & Above Level: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised University or an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit

The age limit is calculated as per the crucial date mentioned in the official notification. The requirements vary based on the specific post a candidate applies for:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: Ranges between 25, 27, or 30 Years depending on the specific post category.

Age Relaxation

Upper age limit relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per standard government rules:

SSC Selection Posts Classification

The SSC Phase 14 posts are broadly classified into Group B (Non-Gazetted) and Group C categories. These roles fall under various pay scales depending on the job profile:

• Group B Posts: Pay Scale of Rs. 9300 - 34800/- plus Grade Pay.
• Group C Posts: Pay Scale of Rs. 5200 - 20200/- plus Grade Pay.
• The overall salary varies from Pay Level 1 to Pay Level 8 based on the designated post.

Application Fee

Candidates must pay the application fee online through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.

• General/OBC/EWS Candidates: Rs. 100/-
• Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: Nil (Exempted from fee payment)

Exam Pattern

The selection process involves a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by a Skill Test (only if applicable for the specific post), and Document Verification. The CBT is an objective-type multiple-choice examination.

• Total Marks: 200
• Duration: 60 minutes (80 minutes for candidates eligible for scribes)
